Me, My Fears, and I (Remastered)
*If the WASD controls suddenly stop working, go to another tab and come back and it should be fixed. This is a bug with our game engine, sorry! Best played in fullscreen to avoid this issue and any other possible issues with the mouse being out of the game.*
This is the remastered version of Me, My Fears, and I. The original was made in less than 24 hours, while this was made over the course of around a week.
In this game, you play as a young boy named William, who is his own worst enemy because every night, he has nightmares where his worst fears come to life as monsters. The goal is to survive your endless nightmare of enemies for as long as possible by aiming your trusty flashlight at the monsters to make them disappear.
How to play:
- Move with WASD
- Aim and toggle your flashlight with the mouse and left click
- Stand still to recharge your flashlight
- Enemies drop "Dream Orbs" when defeated, pick them up by going near them
- After each wave, use these Dream Orbs to purchase upgrades and items
- To use items in your inventory, press space
- Scroll with the mouse wheel or use the up and down arrow keys to switch between your selected item
Enemies:
- Ghost - The weakest monster. It's slow, weak, and vaporizes from your flashlight fairly easily, but watch out, because they're strong in numbers!
- Clown - Even though it dies from light instantly, the clown is strong and quickly runs straight towards you, so you always have to be on alert to survive.
- Alien - This little guy is slow and weak at first glance, but is actually incredibly tough and deals loads of damage. Avoid the lasers it shoots at you, and if you get close it'll disrupt your vision with static.
- Ghoul - An evil spirit out for vengeance. A more aggressive version of the ghost that's faster and will deal more damage.
- Boogeyman - Once it grabs you, it's over... the boogeyman will hold you in place and slowly sap away your life energy, and won't be stopped by your flashlight. It takes lots of light to evaporate.
Ready to help William conquer his fears? Play now, and see what wave you can make it to!
